This 12mm T2.1 wide-angle prime is part of Zeiss's Standard Speed series, with a 136mm front diameter for standard mattebox use. Its wide coverage suits establishing shots, interiors and landscape-style framing with Zeiss's classic Standard Speed color rendering. The set's slightly warmer, softer character distinguishes it from Zeiss's later Ultra Prime and Master Prime lines. The PL mount fits directly onto most cinema cameras in our fleet. It suits narrative and commercial productions that want a vintage-leaning Zeiss wide-angle prime.
