This extension unit lets a Sony Venice camera's sensor block be mounted away from the main camera body, connected by a cable, for gimbal, drone, low-profile or remote setups. It's used when the full Venice body is too large or heavy for a specific rig, letting only the smaller sensor block and lens sit at the camera position while the body and controls stay elsewhere. Its cabled connection maintains full image quality and camera control despite the physical separation. It's compatible specifically with the Sony Venice camera system.
