Sony Venice 6K Sensor Block

Description

This interchangeable sensor unit is built for the Sony Venice cinema camera system and features a 6K full-frame CMOS sensor. It's part of Sony's modular Venice concept, where the sensor unit can be swapped or upgraded — for example to the 8K variant — independently of the rest of the camera system. The 6K full-frame sensor offers a wide dynamic range and dual base ISO, suited to feature film and commercial production. It's compatible with the Sony Venice camera body and accessories such as the Rialto extension unit, which lets the sensor be mounted away from the body for compact or gimbal setups. It's used on productions working entirely within the Sony Venice cinema ecosystem.
