Description

This full-frame cinema camera shares its sensor lineage with the Sony Venice line and records in X-OCN for a wide dynamic range and flexible color grading. It offers dual base ISO (800/3200) and outputs up to 4K in a compact, lightweight body designed for gimbal, handheld and drone work. The native E-mount, combined with an optional PL mount adapter, gives access to both photo and cine lenses, and it shares menu logic and color science with Sony's Cinema Line for easy integration into existing Sony-based workflows. Internal ND filtering and dual card slots support long, uninterrupted takes on set. It's often paired with compact full-frame primes and zooms, and combines well with gimbals such as the DJI Ronin 2 thanks to its low weight.
