Description

This Ranger-configuration camera integrates the Monstro 8K VV sensor into a purpose-built form factor with an on-board OLPF, built-in ND filters and an integrated top handle. It's designed to reduce rigging time on set compared to a fully modular DSMC2 body, while keeping the same REDCODE RAW recording and RED lens mount. The internal variable ND filter allows fast exposure changes without swapping physical filters. Its full-frame Monstro sensor suits large-format and anamorphic lens setups. It's used on productions that want RED's 8K VV image quality with a faster, more streamlined camera setup.
