Description

This DSMC2-generation camera uses the Monstro sensor to capture 8K VV (full-frame) resolution, offering a wide field of view suited to large-format lenses and anamorphics. Its modular body accepts the RED lens mount plus standard cine rails, mattebox and follow focus accessories. REDCODE RAW recording supports extensive color grading and VFX flexibility in post-production. The VV sensor size pairs well with full-frame and large-format cine glass, including anamorphic lenses designed for wider coverage. It's used on feature, commercial and episodic productions that want maximum resolution and a full-frame field of view.
