Description

This DSMC2-generation camera uses the Helium sensor to capture 8K resolution in a Super35 format, with high frame rate options for slow motion at reduced resolutions. Its modular body accepts the RED lens mount along with standard cine rails, mattebox and follow focus accessories. REDCODE RAW recording gives extensive latitude for color grading and VFX work in post. The Super35 sensor size makes it a direct match for existing Super35 cine lens sets. It's used on episodic, commercial and feature productions that want high resolution with a smaller sensor footprint than full-frame.
