Description

This coupler connects two OpticalCON DUO fiber cable runs together, extending the total cable length or joining separate cable sections without needing a single continuous run. It's used wherever a fiber cable run needs to be extended beyond the length of a single cable, or where cables need to be joined at a bulkhead or breakout point. Its rugged connector housing protects the fragile fiber connection point during rigging and derigging on set. It's compatible with standard OpticalCON DUO fiber cable and connector systems. It suits live event, broadcast and large-scale production setups running fiber-based signal transmission over longer distances.
