Metabones EF To E-Mount Speed Booster

Description

This adapter lets Canon EF-mount lenses be used on Sony E-mount cameras while also increasing light transmission and reducing the effective focal length, thanks to its internal Speed Booster optics. It's used to gain roughly one extra stop of light and a wider effective field of view compared to a standard, optics-free EF-to-E adapter. Its internal lens elements focus the EF lens's image circle down to properly cover the smaller Super35 E-mount sensor. It's compatible with Sony Super35 E-mount cinema and mirrorless cameras in our fleet. It suits productions using EF-mount lenses on Sony E-mount Super35 cameras that want extra low-light performance and a wider field of view.
