Description

This vintage 9.8mm T2.3 wide-angle prime is a rehoused Kinoptik Tégéa lens, one of the widest rectilinear cine lenses ever made, with almost no visible distortion for a lens this wide. Its 89mm front diameter and PL mount conversion make it usable on modern cine bodies while preserving the original Kinoptik glass and its distinctive vintage rendering. Known for its use on classic films, it has a close focus distance of around 20cm from the front element. The rehousing adds standard geared focus rings for follow focus compatibility. It suits productions chasing a specific vintage wide-angle look with genuine, period-correct optics rather than a modern recreation.
