Description

This lightweight, telescopic carbon fiber boom pole is built for positioning microphones during film production. Made up of multiple extendable sections, it offers a balance of length, rigidity and weight, making extended use more comfortable for the boom operator. Internal cable routing keeps the microphone cable tidy and free of noise or rattle during movement. Thanks to its carbon fiber construction, it's noticeably lighter than comparable aluminum boom poles without sacrificing rigidity. It's typically paired with shotgun microphones and windshields from our audio range, and suits both studio recording and on-location work on set.
