Description

This expander adapter lets PL-mount cine lenses be used on B4-mount broadcast camcorders, adding roughly 2.5x magnification to compensate for the smaller 2/3-inch sensor size of B4 cameras. It's used when a production wants to pair cinema-style PL lenses with broadcast camcorders rather than being limited to native B4 broadcast lenses. Its built-in expander optics adjust the image circle to properly cover the 2/3-inch sensor without vignetting. It's compatible with standard PL-mount cine lenses and B4-mount broadcast camera bodies.
