Description

This 1.7x expander fits between a lens and a Super35 camera to enable full-frame coverage from lenses that would otherwise only cover Super35, rather than functioning as a traditional telephoto extender. It's used to let Super35-format lenses cover a full-frame sensor without the vignetting that would normally occur. Its optical design is built specifically for this expansion function rather than adding reach in the traditional sense. It's compatible with Super35-coverage lenses being used on full-frame cinema cameras. It suits productions that want to use their existing Super35 lens set on a full-frame camera body without switching lenses.
