Description
The ÉCLAT Stemirax is an optical lens tool that superimposes two angles of view optically and in real time, directly in camera. Its stereoscopy-inspired mirror system adjusts with exacting control, letting the DP see, tune and integrate the final image live on set — in direct relation to the actors, the set and the lighting — instead of shooting for an effect that only comes together in post. Mounted in front of the lens and engineered to cinema standards, the system rotates smoothly from horizontal to vertical, and both mirrors can converge on a single point or run free in asymmetric mode. Indexed mechanics and optional motorization (via follow focus) make every setting reliably reproducible — unlike conventional, unpredictable prism systems. The mirrors offer over 96% reflectivity and are drawer-mounted for fast, tool-free swaps. Two 4x5.6" filter trays are included. Suited to every kind of production: narrative, commercial, music video and documentary.
