Description

This 10x cine zoom covers 25-250mm with an aperture of T2.95 at the wide end ramping to T3.95 at the telephoto end, and includes a built-in 1.5x extender to reach 375mm. Its Super35 coverage expands to full-frame when the extender is engaged, and its 11-blade iris produces smooth, rounded bokeh. Compatible with both EF and PL mounts, it bridges the gap between Canon's shorter 17-120mm and longer 50-1000mm Cine-Servo zooms in a shoulder-mountable, roughly 3kg body. Its servo drive and onboard LCD support fast zoom, focus and iris adjustments on the fly. It suits wildlife, documentary, broadcast and narrative productions that need extensive reach in a single lens.
