Description

This rubber donut mounts to the front of a mattebox to seal the gap between the mattebox opening and the lens barrel, blocking stray light from entering around the edges. Its flexible, 143mm rubber construction conforms to different lens diameters within its size range for a snug, light-tight fit. It's used whenever the standard mattebox opening is larger than the lens being used, which would otherwise let unwanted light leak in from the sides. It's compatible with Bright Tangerine's Misfit and Black Hole mattebox systems. It suits narrative and commercial productions needing a flexible, quick light seal between mattebox and lens.
