This 35mm film camera shoots the 3-perf format and uses a blimped, quiet body suited to sound-sensitive studio environments. The 3-perf frame reduces film stock consumption compared to standard 4-perf while keeping the same PL mount lens compatibility. It's built for studio and controlled-set shooting where camera noise needs to stay low near dialogue and live sound recording. It accepts the same magazines, viewfinders and accessories as other cameras in the Arricam range. It suits productions shooting on film that want to manage stock costs without sacrificing image quality.
