Description

This universal distance measuring unit uses ultrasonic sensing to give the focus puller a live readout of the distance between camera and subject. It helps with fast or unpredictable focus pulls where judging distance by eye alone is difficult, such as with actors moving unpredictably or in low light. Its readout displays directly to the assistant, working alongside manual or motorized follow focus systems. It mounts easily onto the camera body or rod support without interfering with lens controls. It suits narrative and commercial productions needing an extra layer of focus accuracy on challenging shots.
