Description

This set of five spherical mattes crops a mattebox's opening to standard spherical lens aspect ratios, blocking out unwanted vignetting or mattebox edges from entering the frame. Built for ARRI's LMB-5, LMB-15 and 4x5 mattebox systems, the set covers a range of lens and extension positions to avoid vignetting across different spherical focal lengths. Hard mattes give a cleaner, more precise edge than French flags alone at wider angles. They fit directly into the matte holder slots on compatible ARRI matteboxes.
