Arri MFF-2 Follow Focus

Description

This manual follow focus uses a geared ring on the lens barrel and a control knob on a support arm to let the focus puller make precise, repeatable focus pulls by hand, an updated version of ARRI's MFF-1 with refined ergonomics and gearing. Its dual-sided drive and marking disc let assistants mark focus points directly for consistent pulls between takes. Standard 0.8 mod gearing fits most cine lens focus rings without modification. It mounts on standard 15mm rod support systems used across camera rigs. It suits narrative and commercial productions using manual, non-motorized focus pulling on set.
