Description
This long-range cine zoom uses IRO technology to cover S35, U35 and Full Frame/VistaVision in a single lens. Thanks to interchangeable rear optics (IRO), it can be configured for three sensor formats, with a focal range reaching up to 435mm in Full Frame configuration. Depending on configuration, it offers a T-stop between T2.8 and T4.2, minimal breathing, no zoom ramping, and a consistent 162mm front diameter for easy use with matteboxes and filters. With a close minimum object distance from around 1.22m, it stays flexible for a telephoto zoom of this size. It's the successor to the widely used Optimo 24-290 and 28-340, and is used on feature films, series, commercials and music videos. The PL mount makes it directly compatible with most cinema cameras in our range, including ARRI Alexa and Sony Venice systems.
