Description

This anamorphic zoom covers 30-72mm at a constant T4 aperture with a 2x anamorphic squeeze, giving the elongated bokeh, oval highlights and horizontal flares associated with anamorphic cinematography. Its 114mm front diameter suits standard mattebox setups built for anamorphic use. As part of the Optimo Anamorphic A-Series, it's designed to pair with other anamorphic Optimo zooms and primes for a consistent look across a full lens package. The PL mount fits directly onto most cinema cameras in our fleet. It suits feature and commercial productions that want a true 2x anamorphic zoom rather than a digitally simulated widescreen look.
