This vintage Canon FD 50-300mm zoom has been fully rehoused by GL Optics into a cine-friendly housing, with standard 0.8 mod focus and iris gears, a 136mm front diameter and de-clicked aperture. The rehousing preserves the character of the original 1980s Canon FD optics — softer contrast, gentle color rendition and distinctive bokeh — while adding geared rings for follow focus and matteboxes. It's built for productions that want a vintage zoom look without relying on a fully modern lens. The PL mount conversion makes it compatible with standard cine bodies and lens support systems.
